Are you finding it difficult to adjust, adapt and find the balance you need to stay calm.

The struggle is real.  If you are dealing with any or all of the following, please know that it’s normal to feel increased anxiety, depression, stress, anger and grief during a time of crisis.

Many situations are contributing to the overall effect this is having on your physical and mental health, and may also result in a negative impact on your immune system.

You Are Not Alone!

Many people are struggling right now and experiencing similar feelings and circumstances, but unsure how therapy may help.  For some, it feels like the world has turned upside down, and no longer feels stable, safe or secure.

I understand that you may be feeling trapped, hopeless, and overwhelmed.  Counseling can help you navigate through the very stressful times and re-establish a sense of calm, balance, and control.

If you are a resident of CA, I offer online therapy, in the form of a phone, FT or zoom session.

DOES ONLINE THERAPY REALLY WORK?

The good news is that online therapy has proven to be very effective for issues relating to mental health, and also provides additional benefits over face to face office meetings.  Benefits of online counseling include the convenience of having therapy in the comfort of your own home or space.  Studies have also shown that some people, especially those with anxiety or social anxiety, find it easier to share their thoughts and feelings in online or video therapy.

Online therapy can help with reducing depression, anxiety, stress management, panic attacks, grief, food addiction, relationship issues and parenting, as well as many other mental health issues, depending on the specialization of your therapist.

ONLINE THERAPY CAN HELP RESTORE BALANCE AND CALM IN THE EYE OF THE STORM.

The truth is that you may need help and support right now, to deal with your current situation.

All sessions are offered virtually and you may choose to meet by phone, FaceTime or zoom.   I am licensed to practice in CA, so you must be a resident of CA.

I use an approach that combines education and problem solving to help you regain control of your life.  My approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, solution therapy and a variety of coping skills, resources and techniques to decrease your anxiety, depression and stress and regain peace and harmony.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONLINE THERAPY

Online therapy or online counseling is similar to therapy in an office setting, but instead of sitting face to face we are connecting through the phone, FT or zoom video.   I recommend starting with a free 15- minute phone consultation to see if we are a good fit, and if we are, then we will schedule your first appointment.  You will fill out forms prior to the appointment, which will provide me with your contact information, history, and other important information.

We will identify the issues and concerns you have and together we will create a treatment plan customized for you.  We will also create a tool box filled with practical and effective strategies to address your real life solutions for real life problems, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, food addictions, codependency, perfectionism, avoiding conflict, parenting concerns, and issues relating to your marriage or relationship.

BUT… WHAT IF I TRIED THERAPY BEFORE? WHAT IF I’M NOT GOOD AT TECH STUFF?

I get it!  You have a lot of questions and concerns.  That’s why I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation, and I’m happy to answer your questions by email too!

Even if you have tried therapy before, every therapist is different.  We have different styles, philosophies, approaches, personalities, experience and ways of running our practices.

My clients know that I am passionate about being a therapist and truly helping people, and I care deeply about them and what is in their best interest.  As someone who loves to learn and keep up with the latest information and research, I also share my knowledge and resources with clients.  This may include recommendations of low cost resources, such as books, podcasts, webinars, TED talks, audio tapes, PBS specials, documentaries and other information for you to access outside of session.
