My approach is best summed up by my personal motto regarding therapy:
DON’T SPEND MORE TIME IN THERAPY DISCUSSING YOUR CHILDHOOD THAN IT TOOK TO LIVE IT!
I believe that therapy should not take years to overcome your pain, nor do I think you should spend years in therapy reliving past trauma. Of course, the sooner you get help, the easier it will be to achieve positive results. If you’re struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, binge eating or food addiction, please reach out for professional help and support. Perhaps you need marriage counseling or family therapy. You do not have to suffer, and there is effective treatment available. You may find relief from symptoms of depression or anxiety and a renewed sense of hope even after a few sessions. If you are seeking help for parenting, divorce, or ADD/ADHD, therapy or coaching can be very efficient and effective and provide new coping skills and resources for your solution toolbox.

We collaborate to find the solutions that best address the issues you face, whether it is depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, relationship issues, divorce, parenting concerns or eating disorders. My approach to therapy combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Life Coaching and Positive Psychology to help you achieve your goals. As a team, we decide what to focus on and how long it will take, depending on your own needs and expectations.
